Buster Posey of the San Francisco Giants
The home plate collision where Buster Posey sustained injuries in 2011 was considered as the most controversial on the list. He suffered multiple torn ligaments and a broken ankle right after the collision with Scott Cousins, the outfielder for Colorado Rockies. Buster managed to take himself off the field, but his injury made him miss playing during the remainder of the baseball season. Negative feedbacks were hurled against Scott after the play, but the rules say it was legal and fair.
