Tony Saunders of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays
In 1999, the young southpaw, Tony Saunders broke his arm after throwing a wild pitch. His arm snapped and he fell to the ground writhing and screaming in pain. During that time, Tony was one of the young athletes with a lot of potential. It was very unfortunate that this injury was the start of Tony’s downfall. Although he recovered from the injury, he broke the same arm the following year and this forced him to stop playing baseball.
