Cherry trees
The Japanese are noted for a lot of things. They like cherry blossoms. They also make incredibly detailed tattoos which take an insane amount of time to do. Combining these two is a logical step and wicked results. Japanese artists take up to 3 years to make a masterpiece. This seems to be no exception.
