2 Hang Mioku
In Korea, plastic surgeries are not uncommon. In fact, it’s pretty normal for young girls to ask their parents for these procedures as birthday presents. No one will really care if your face is fake or not, and it can even catapult you to stardom. After all, K-Pop and K-Dramas are trending all over the world.
For Hang Mioku, it turned into an addiction. Doctors even described it as a “psychological issue” and refused to inject any more silicone into her face to make it softer. This didn’t stop her from taking her dose of “surgery,” though, if you can still call it that. After the refusal, Hang Mioku injected cooking oil onto her face by herself, leaving her skin permanently disfigured.
