Spirobranchus Giganteus
Seeing this picture, you probably see their resemblance to a Christmas tree. This is why they are commonly known as the Christmas tree worms. Yes, you’ve read it right. These creatures are worms! They come in varying colors including yellow, blue, orange, green, and others even have different colors on top and at the bottom. It has branches spiraling on the tube, where the body itself is located. These branches are used for feeding and breathing, and they are usually withdrawn when these worms feel threatened.
