The Windmill
Strictly speaking, this is a whimsy or a flight of fancy. The beard is asymmetrical with the left side made to look like a windmill. This man may be a Dutch citizen, or even from Germany. This celebrates the joy of the rural area in Europe, where festivities are enjoyed to the fullest. It takes several years to grow a beard, and he might have planned this for a long time. He does look as if he is enjoying it.
