Aye-aye
A native of Madagascar, the aye-aye is a lemur that is characterized by it’s long and thin middle finger and rodent-like teeth that grow perpetually, both used for its unusual means of finding food. It is the largest nocturnal primate in the world and it hunts at night by creating small holes on trees using its sharp teeth and reaching for grub inside using its long middle fingers. Some travelers find them so scary that they are considered as a bad omen.
