Etched Surfaces
This one is an artist’s rendition and uses a technique called etching. Rather than carving the entire pumpkin out, only the surface of the pumpkin is etched with a scary design. It’s still scary and achieves the desired effect once you add candles or lanterns inside the pumpkin to light them up. To start, create a design and draw it on paper before etching it onto the skin of your pumpkin. You can create elaborate designs too.
