Ice Runway, Antarctica
The ice runway is located in Antarctica. Usually, planes land here just to deliver supplies to the scientists stationed in the remote continent. Lately, tourists have also been brought there. Since there is no actual tarmac, the runway is made out of carefully groomed ice and snow. In order to ensure safe landing, the plane’s weight must be properly calculated. The goal is to ensure that the ice doesn’t break. The area is an endless runway though.
