Toncontin International Airport, Honduras
The capital city of Honduras is home to this airport which is notorious for being extremely dangerous. Unlike other dangerous airports on the list, this one is actually a busy airport as this is the key to the country’s capital. There even was a crash in 2008 near the airport that killed 5 people. It was built in 1934 back when it was not required to have lengthy runways. Despite the changes of modern times, they still used the same runway. Worse, there is only one runway going in and out. This makes it extremely difficult to manage the whole situation.
