This might seem like it’s a plane that is about to crash, but it’s not. It is just another day at Princess Juliana International Airport at St. Maarten. This small island is a popular tourist destination due to its pristine beaches. Before landing, the plane passes through Maho Beach at a very low altitude. It is just enough to surpass the airport fences before landing. The airport is also very small and the runway is short. Only the most skilled pilots can land jumbo jets at this airport.
