Aren’t zebras supposed to be black and white?
This might seem like a shocking picture as you were taught before that zebras are supposed to have black and white stripes. The one in the picture does not. It is not a totally different animal though or a different species of zebra. The animal in the picture has albinism. This is a disease that we are familiar of since there are several recorded cases of this among humans. It is due to the lack of pigments that show the distinct color. The same thing can happen among animals. Zebras are not the only albinos in the animal kingdom.
